SERENITY ACRES HORSE RESCUE
Serenity Acres Horse Rescue is a smaller organization that focuses on quality not quantity. We want to ensure the horses are able to get all the care they need even while donations are slow. Most of our residents that come in are Off the Track Thoroughbreds needing significant time off for rehab or surgery. As growing up around Thoroughbreds and working with track horses we have developed a good foundation and knowledge of working with this breed although are not limited to them. SAHR is very much supportive of owner relinquished horses hoping to limit the stress of them ending up in the auction or slaughter pipe lines as well. Serenity Acres Horse Rehabilitation also runs a therapy program for at risk youth and foster kids. They developed this program for horse education and healing.
