San Luis Obispo Friends of the Library – Supporting the SLO Library, its community and the SLO Community San Luis Obispo Friends of the Library Our Mission Supporting the Librarys mission to connect the community to knowledge culture and creativity through exceptional service. What We Do Over the last 10 years SLO Friends of the Library has donated over 300000 to the San Luis Obispo Library to help fund Library programs and collections for adults teens and children. In addition we have obtained over 100000 in grants from the Harold J. Miossi Charitable Trust to fund Science and Arts programs and to provide primary sponsorship for the mural in the Library entrance.
