Founded in 2013, KTA became an independent 501(c)(3) organization in 2024. The organization's mission is to foster a more equitable and resilient farmer and rancher-led food system by providing practical business advising and building trusted relationships.
Programs
Kitchen Table Advisors operates through two primary programs:

For example, the Cruz family was able to purchase the land they farm with the help of KTA's advising services, securing their future. Such successes reflect KTA's commitment to fostering a more resilient and equitable food system.

How can we reimagine land access for BIPOC farmers. Our answer: Rancho Corralitos. Alongside The People’s Land Fund, Dirt Capital Partners, Manzanita Capital Collective, and La Cultiva, KTA has partnered on the project since 2021, when a 177-acre parcel of organic farmland was purchased in Watsonville with the eventual goal of transferring the land to a group of Latino/a immigrant farmers at a reduced cost.
