Our Mission: provide funding to support superior cancer care for all residents of Santa Barbara County. 🎗️🤝 We are the exclusive fundraising partner of the Ridley Tree Cancer-Center. The mission of the Cancer Foundation is to ensure superior cancer care for all residents of Santa Barbara County regardless of means. To this end, the Foundation is the leading non-profit fundraising and grant making institution dedicated to cancer care in Santa Barbara County. The Cancer Foundation is the largest donor to Ridley-Tree Cancer Center, the leading provider of cancer care on the central coast.

CFSB | Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara Donate Now Donate Now null null null null null For 75 years the Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara CFSB has served as the backbone of oncology support in Santa Barbara. In 1949 after receiving a cancer diagnosis and traveling to Los Angeles to receive treatment Lillian Taylor Converse dreamed of establishing a cancer treatment facility in Santa Barbara. Her husband Elisha Converse turned that dream into reality with the financial support to purchase a one million volt linear accelerator for the Cancer Center establishing the Cancer Foundations intent to ensure stateoftheart treatment in our community for generations to come. Since that initial gift there has been tremendous change in the healthcare landscape and the way oncology treatments are offered what used to primarily be inpatient care is now often available on an outpatient basis.

Meet Betty Wingo & Amy Shapton❤️ When persistent bleeding led to Betty’s endometrial cancer diagnosis, it marked the beginning of a challenging journey. Following her hysterectomy, she endured months of treatment while also receiving a devastating second diagnosis of early-stage breast cancer. The situation was especially difficult as Betty’s husband Larry, who has Parkinson’s disease, lives at Covenant Living at the Samarkand.
