The YWCA of Kauai is a leader on issues of economic empowerment of women and girls, and the elimination of racism on this rural island. We have crafted a local mission specific to the needs of Kauai: A strong commitment to eliminating Family Violence in all of its forms, provide treatment to those who have been traumatized by violence, provide the skills necessary so that individuals who were once violent can live productive and caring lives, youth programs are designed to help Kaua‘i’s young people gain exposure and the skills needed to become successful adults and provides them new and meaningful opportunities for growth.
