Maria's Miracle is a registered 501(c)(3) organization focused on closing the critical care gap in the U.S. and Internationally and supporting patients and families facing ECMO support and long ICU stays. Expanding access to critical care medicine and ECMO training in priority populations through virtual resources and in-person opportunities. Establishing a curated library of resources for families and patients who are facing ECMO treatment/ICU recoveries to inform medical decisions and expectations during their journey.

A staggering 130 days later Maria returned to her family. At the hospital she spent 69 days on ECMO Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation a form of life support and 70 days on a ventilator. Maria was lucky to be at a hospital with advanced technologies and experienced doctors.
