JESUIT RESTORATIVE JUSTICE INITIATIVE
Founded by Fr. Mike Kennedy, SJ, Jesuit Restorative Justice Initiative creates monastic communities behind bars, healing youth & breaking the cycle of violence. JRJI is one of the few programs country-wide that accompanies juveniles charged as adults from youth. Jesuit Restorative Justice Initiative (JRJI) is a pastoral ministry of restorative justice that strives to heal broken relationships with those who are incarcerated and their families as well as victims of crime and their families through prayer, education, and advocacy. Our work is in three major areas: LA County juvenile halls, California state prisons, and community outreach in the Los Angeles area.
