The Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley is a public foundation dedicated to inspiring community philanthropy and engaging people to invest in the educational achievement and leadership development of a thriving Hispanic community in Silicon Valley. The Foundation has 3 initiatives: 1. Educational Excellence. The Hispanic Foundation College Success Program offers a myriad of STEM classes and parent education programs, and the Latinos in Technology Scholarship (LITS) that provides scholarships to Latino college juniors and seniors who are majoring in a STEM related major. 2. Leadership Development. The Latino Board Leadership Academy trains Latinos on how to be successful board members of nonprofit organizations. 3. Convening and Engaging the Latinx community on Silicon Valley
