Crowden combines music and education to nurture, develop, and inspire students of all ages, and to provide essential support to the musical life of the community. Mission: Students, teachers, and musicians at Crowden create a dynamic, inclusive learning community rooted in collaborative musical and educational experiences. We believe that the enjoyment and understanding of music, and the development of skills to create and perform music collaboratively, enrich the quality of life, nourish the human spirit, and foster the growth of intellect, creativity, and character. The Crowden Music Center serves as a musical education hub for the San Francisco Bay Area, and especially the East Bay as an Independent Day School for grades 3-8, and a community education center for all ages.
