17 years ago our town was shocked at the terrible tragedy that happened to the Petit family. Today, we remeber Jennifer, Hayley and Michaela and keep our friend, Dr. Bill Petit, and the entire Petit family in our prayers. We moved from a local neighborhood event to a town-wide event because of the words spoken by Dr. Petit: "Help a neighbor. Fight for a cause. ... Love your family." These words remain with us today.
