THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION (MHAH) IS TO DEVELOP, OWN AND MANAGE MULTI-FAMILY RENTAL COMMUNITIES SERVING FAMILIES EARNING 20 TO 80 PERCENT OF MEDIAN INCOME. MHAH WILL ASSIST ITS TARGET FAMILIES TO BECOME MORE SELF SUFFICIENT THROUGH THE PROVISION OF AFFORDABLE RENTAL HOUSING, SUPPORT FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES AIMED AT ASSISTING RESIDENTS TO BUILD ASSETS, EARN INCOME, AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF FAMILY LIFE AND THE ECONOMIC VITALITY OF THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY.

Our Mission At Mutual Housing we want to give people much more than just a place to live. In the spirit of the mutual housing model we collaborate closely with our residents to develop programs that address their particular needs and interests. Each of our locations offers a wide range of activities and services aimed at allowing residents to nurture their individual interests and talents to set and attain goals for themselves and their families and to forge supportive fulfilling relationships with their neighbors.
