East Africa Children's Healthcare Foundation Improving Healthcare Access for Children in Tanzania Increasing access to healthcare enables better education According to the head primary school teacher Jackson Nchimbi many children are missing school four times a month. The children are not going on vacation. They are sick and not able to receive medical care because their families cannot afford healthcare insurance. It can take up to three days for children to be able to seek medical care.
