We are thrilled to celebrate the success of our 8th grade students in this year’s LEAP Algebra I exam: 65% of them scored at the Mastery or Advanced level! This is a remarkable accomplishment that speaks to the hard work, discipline, and academic growth of our students — as well as the unwavering dedication of our teachers. Special recognition goes to Mr. Labat and Mr. Scott, whose students respectively contributed 23.6% and 41.8% to the overall Mastery+ rate. 📊 When we look at our progress over the past four years, the growth is undeniable: 2022: 19.6% Mastery+ (9th grade only) 2023: 39.2% Mastery+ (9th grade only) 2024: 45.5% Mastery+ (8th and 9th grades) 2025: 65% Mastery+ (8th grade only) From less than 1 in 5 students to nearly 2 in 3 reaching Mastery or higher, LFNO’s Algebra I program has seen transformational improvement in just four years. This upward trend highlights our school’s strategic investments in early algebra readiness and teacher excellence. 👏 Bravo to our students, teachers, and families for making this success possible.
