Founded in 1983, the Grants Pass Family YMCA (the Y) provides essential health and wellness services, childcare and youth programs, and educational opportunities to help build a healthy community and strengthen individuals. At the Y, we strengthen our community by connecting people to their potential, purpose, and each other. Our programs, together with our passionate staff, are the essential ingredients in making a positive impact. The mission is the Y is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. he Y has three areas of impact, 1) Youth Development, 2) Healthy Living, and 3) Social Responsibility.
