Our guiding mission is to inspire understanding, appreciation, and conservation of plants and to advance a sustainable relationship between people and nature. To champion, promote, sustain, and advise the North Carolina Botanical Garden so that its endeavors to protect lands, support research, and educate the public about plants and natural ecosystems will flourish on behalf of North Carolina and the Southeast.
