Meerkerk Rhododendron Gardens, a nonprofit public garden, encompasses 10 acres of display gardens & 2 miles of trails over 43 acres of peaceful woodland. $5 pp Meerkerk Gardens is a nonprofit garden open to the public seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Meerkerk Gardens is a 10 acre botanical garden featuring a world class collection of hybrid and species rhododendrons, surrounded by 43 acres of native forest preserve. Our gardens, nursery, educational and cultural programs draw visitors of all ages and backgrounds.
