Black Girls Shred Our Mission To increase the participation of black women athletes in action sport competitions and careers. Jumpstarting our advocacy in 2020. Founded on June 19 2022 by Nicole Humphrey with the support of local social skate organizers BGS is a communitybuilt organization dedicated to fostering safety promoting health awareness rallying resources advancing equity and developing play spaces for youth and young adult shredders ages 1525. While our primary focus is on uplifting the Black community we are committed to all communities of color and marginalized identities creating inclusive opportunities across action sports for shredders of all styles and skill levels.
