Coffee Housing’s proposal is simple: buy and build small apartment complexes to be rented out at 50 to 75% of market rate to local baristas. Affordable housing allows your local barista to live in the same area they work. That means that you can still have that excellent cup of coffee from someone who remembers your name and your favorite drink.
