Committee for the Contemporary American Dance Museum Inc
Our mission is to support American contemporary modern dance, and widen its funding base by blending its audience with the audiences for the visual arts. The mission of the Contemporary American Dance Museum is to generate, collect, preserve, and interpret fine art, photography, video/film, and manuscript collections, which document new American contemporary modern dances as they are being created. We educate the public by presenting exhibitions of our collections in conjunction with live performances of the new dances they document. Thus, we support contemporary modern dance in America, and widen its funding base by blending its audience with the audiences for the visual arts.
