Our team had the best time with partners at Laurel Dace Day in the Town of Spring City, TN 🐟 Since we teamed up with Spring City in the Resilient Communities pilot program in 2022, their environmental efforts have sprouted fins - evolving into something truly special — including the launch of Laurel Dace Day, a community-driven celebration in partnership with the Tennessee Aquarium inspired by a remarkable native fish whose survival depends on the very waters that run through Spring City. We’re inspired by how community residents and leaders have woven the Laurel Dace into their resilience journey — connecting environmental health, local identity, and stormwater solutions in creative and lasting ways.
