Home - EADELF ELIZABETH ANN DAVIS EDUCATION LITERACY FOUNDATION 501 C 3 NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION Elizabeth Ann Daviss passion began in 1968 when she was attending Eastern High School in Washington DC where she organized a successful walkout of 1500 students demanding that African American studies become a part of their high school curriculum. After graduating from Eastern she went on to attend The Washington Technical Institute and received her Industrial Arts Bachelors Degree. In 1978 she earned a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from American University. She taught at several DC Public schools throughout her 44 years in the teaching profession advocating for teachers students as well as their parents.
