We're offering four virtual Monthly Support Groups in June, including a Wellness Workshop with Shannon Kilty, RD, a clinical dietician specializing in Ketogenic Therapy (KDT)! In these safe and welcoming spaces that are free to attend, we host open conversations about what it can mean to live while impacted by epilepsy. People may sign-up to attend one or more of the groups that fit the way they identify in the epilepsy community—as an adult or teen, parent or caregiver, as someone in an active supportive role at home, at work, or at school. Are you enrolled to attend college during the 2025–2026 academic year? You may be eligible to apply for a scholarship from the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County! Our scholarships for the 2025–2026 academic year range from $250–$6,000, including the Michael Zapoticzny Memorial Scholarship that awards up to $6000 and the Kim Tallian Memorial Scholarship that awards $2000. Scholarship applicants must reside in or be permanent residents of San Diego County, Imperial County, or Southern Riverside County. Students from these areas may attend school elsewhere, and out-of-state students currently enrolled in a San Diego school are also eligible.
