We, the members of Mary Magdalene Friends UCC, take seriously the directive from Jesus the Christ, "Truly I tell you just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me." (Matthew 25:40) Therefore, we hold it to be the mission of the church congregation to reach out in love to all individuals in the world especially those in need of healing support. Mary Magdalene Friends UCC is: A gathering of people of diverse race, ethnic backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, social status, age, abilities, disabilities and spiritual traditions, A conventional community rooted in the Christian tradition, A caring community providing support to all, A community that affirms that, "hope does not disappoint" (Romans 5:5), and An open and affirming
