Artist Shiloh Ashley is an interdisciplinary artist and musician currently residing in Phoenix, Arizona. Born in the heart of Pahá Sapá in Rapid City, South Dakota, a member of the Mnicoujou band - Plants by the Water. She is one of the featured artists in our current "IMPRINT: Native American Stories" exhibit at the Arts HQ Gallery. A graphic designer, Shiloh wove her loves of art and technology together to write code creating an interactive art experience. Bands of color were projected on a wall and reacted to her body movements, creating surprising abstract designs. You can see Shiloh's artwork and the IMPRINT exhibit through June 19. 🎤FRIDAY NIGHT JUNE 6, 6-9pm at the Arts HQ Gallery Experience live music from five Arizona songwriters in a showcase of original music while surrounded by artwork in an intimate setting. No sticky beer splattered floor. No ruckus. Just great music supporting the arts here in the West Valley. All ticket sales will benefit the musicians, the art gallery, and the On Stage Now Development Programs. This showcase is designed to help local musicians grow. Doors open at 6pm.
