Sounding Joy is a startup charity founded by Christy Vogel to help people with mild to moderate permanent hearing loss who don’t qualify for financial help. Sounding Joy provides hearing aids to local children whose families can’t afford them. TO IGNITE JOY BY PROVIDING HEARING AIDS TO CHILDREN WHOSE FAMILIES CAN'T AFFORD THEM SO THEY CAN REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL IN THEIR EDUCATION, THEIR CAREERS, THEIR RELATIONSHIPS, AND THEIR LIVES.

Hearing aids reduce the chance of a child becoming addicted to drugs and alcohol as well as reducing suicide attempts as a young adult. The numbers are staggering. 30 million Americans have hearing loss in both ears.
