We were proud to honor our longtime partners at KLFY News 10 with the Msgr. Sigur Legacy Award at the 2025 Catholic Charities of Acadiana Annual Banquet. As a trusted voice in Acadiana for decades, KLFY hasn’t just reported on the needs of our community—they’ve shown up to meet them. Their unwavering support of FoodNet Food Bank, including nearly 30 years of collaboration on the Food for Families Drive, has helped raise over 700 tons of groceries for families facing food insecurity. In moments of crisis—especially during the height of the COVID pandemic—KLFY was there. Not just with cameras, but with compassion. Together, we launched a 7-day staples telethon that raised $250,000 for groceries for those who couldn’t leave their homes.
