Congratulations to two new Wildflower public charter school teams! Last week, Grove Charter Montessori’s application to open a new charter school in Grand Rapids, Michigan was approved by local authorizers, thanks to the hard work and inspiring vision of Founding Teacher Leaders Kate Caliri and Anisa Everett and Charter Leader Kate Robinson. The emerging Rainbow Montessori Charter, led by Dr. Rachelle Smith in Columbus, Ohio, also earned approval in December for a new K-8 program. These schools will be the newest members of Wildflower's charter community, which currently spans Colorado, Minnesota, New York and Washington, D.C. Seven more Wildflower teams are developing charter applications in Tennessee, California, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island.
