"Bringle: A Tale of Two Makers" tells the inspiring life story of eighty-four-year-old identical twins, WARP member Edwina Bringle and Cynthia Bringle who have led storied lives as craftspeople in the South: producing remarkable works of art; mentoring a vast community of makers; and sharing what they know with students, visitors, and collectors at every turn. They have been anchors in the studio craft movement from the 1960s to the present and have enabled others to carry those traditions forward. The Bringle sisters are not only masters of their craft but the life they've built and the legacy they've created is a beautiful work of art in itself. Check out the film at: (fb)

In DAHODIYINII – SACRED PLACES, Diné artist Dakota Mace (a former WARP scholarship recipient!) invites us into a powerful, layered journey through memory, land, and resilience. Her first solo museum show at SITE SANTA FE defies linear storytelling, embracing Diné philosophy where past, present, and future are deeply interwoven. From cochineal murals to collaborative textiles and cyanotypes made with earth from sacred sites, this exhibition honors Indigenous knowledge systems without compromise. A must-read for anyone passionate about the intersections of art, textiles, and cultural continuity. 📍 Read the full Hyperallergic review at: https://hyperallergic.com/1012943/dakota-mace-quiet-enactment-of-dine-philosophy-site-santa-fe/ #SITESantaFe #dakotamace #dahodiyinii (fb)
