Often it is only the socially and economically privileged who have the opportunity to develop a mindfulness practice. It is Elm Village's mission to offer mindfulness teachings to everyone, especially to those people who might otherwise never have an opportunity to explore these practices. By teaching mindfulness, we hope to promote mental health and well-being while decreasing such things as trauma response, recidivism and addiction relapse.
