Lifelinesfor K9s Retiring K9 Heroes Unfortunately retiring K9 heroes do not receive a pension to assist with care when they can no longer physically serve as a working dog. After retirement most K9s will go home with their handlers as pets along with these ongoing medical costs which can become costly. It39s important to help the K9s receive the best continued medical care possible and to assist these human heroes with the expenses of caring for their K9 partner and friend without worry of financial strain.
