TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT THE EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES OF THE STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK BY PROVIDING ORGANIZED AND EFFECTIVE DIRECTION IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF IMPROVED PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES OF SUNY AUXILIARY SERVICE CORPORATIONS, INCLUDING BY CREATING A FORUM AMONG THE GENERAL MANAGERS; EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS AND/OR PROFESSIONAL MANAGERS EMPLOYED BY THE VARIOUS SUNY AUXILIARY SERVICE CORPORATIONS, OR THOSE WHO HAVE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY FOR AUXILIARY SERVICES LOCATED AND OPERATING ON CAMPUSES OF THE STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK, AND IN FURTHERANCE OF THE OBJECTIVES TO FOSTER, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN HIGH ETHICAL IDEALS AND UNIFORM STANDARDS AND BUSINESS METHODS OF AUXILIARY SERVICES AND TO DISSEMINATE NEW AND USEFUL INFORMATION FOR SUCH PURPOSES, ACROSS ALL SUCH SUNY AUXILIARY SERVICE CORPORATIONS IN AN EFFECTIVE, CONCENTRATED AND UNIFORM WAY AND IN FURTHERANCE OF A SHARED COOPERATIVE SPIRIT THAT FOSTERS EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS.

These are commonly referred to as Auxiliary Services Corporations ASC. The SASA organization is the important network support and resource that supports auxiliaries as we provide these mission critical services on our campuses throughout the SUNY system.
