ABANDONED TERRIER RESCUE ASSOC INC
Our small, volunteer nonprofit organization rescues primarily Wire Fox Terriers (and occasionally other terrier breeds and mixes) from situations of neglect, abuse, and abandonment. We also assist with individual surrenders. Each dog is welcomed and care for as our own regardless of age or health condition. We cover the Southern California area and assist in Northern California. We have rescued terriers from out of state and from Taiwan and Korea. Our dogs receive all needed veterinary treatment as well as spaying/ neutering prior to adoption regardless of cost. We conduct home visits and interviews to help assure the best match for the dog and the adopter. We provide ongoing support to adopters and are active in conducting education regarding the terrier breeds' special needs.
