About the organization

About Us TNR Mecosta was formed in 2017 with the majority of volunteers having worked at the local animal shelterARC of Mecosta County who supported our operation until 2022. As of spring 2022 TNR Mecosta is now its own 501c3 with a Board of Directors and four officer positions plus several volunteer positions. No one in TNR Mecosta receives a salary or is paid for their time. Our primary focus is to humanely spayneuter feral and community cats to reduce cat overpopulation in Mecosta County.
