MEBRIATA CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION, INC. is a nonprofit, 501 (c) (3) charitable organization established in the state of Georgia on 03/25/2021 by voluntee help Tigrayan children who are unable to sustain their lives due to loss of a parent or due to war. On November 4th, 2020, a civil war broke out in Tigray, Ethiopia. As a result, the people of Tigray were exposed to looting, destruction, massacre, rape and starvation. Young girls and women have been raped (sometimes gang-raped) and subjected to psychological and physical trauma. People are locked in their homes for months without any food, clean water, electricity, the internet, and telecommunication. Tigrayans have been blocked from humanitarian assistance. Our foundation provides financial and moral support to children victims of war.
