The Valedictorian Project
A Mentorship Program ensuring graduates from public high schools across Boston and the Greater Boston area have the support system and skill set to successfully transition to the next phase of their lives. TVP’s mentoring relationships break down barriers to equity and close the education-to-employment gap for high-achieving students from urban schools. We recruit and train mentors who are passionate change-makers and committed to a more just future.

The Valedictorian Project The Valedictorian Project partners with highachieving students from urban high schools as they start their postsecondary journey. In January of 2019 the Boston Globe published a series called The Valedictorian Project which located 93 out of 113 Boston Public Schools Valedictorians from the classes of 2005 2006 and 2007 and profiled their journeys after high school. Of those interviewed more than half were born outside of the U. S.
