Earlier this year, we shared an important update on the future of IFA and the ongoing fight against violent white supremacy and extremism. After the historic verdict in our Charlottesville lawsuit -- with our principal goals achieved and our case now serving as a model for accountability -- we decided to wind down IFA’s operations, while ensuring our work and legacy live on through key partnerships. We’re particularly gratified that our remaining assets at the end of the year will support the Charlottesville community and, specifically, survivors of the Unite the Right violence through a dedicated fund at the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation in partnership with Congregate C'ville. And our Charlottesville case files will remain accessible long-term at www.integrityfirstforamerica.org -- so that researchers, academics, lawyers, journalists, and others can continue to benefit from them. The fight against violent extremism certainly continues. But at a crucial moment, our Charlottesville case provided a rare example of accountability and justice. It sent a message that will resonate long after the case is over: There are consequences for violent hate. None of this would have been possible without our incredible supporters and partners.
