We are a mission-driven nonprofit committed to helping charter schools create efficiencies and implement sound business practices that ultimately allow school leaders to direct more of their time and energy to the classroom. Since its inception in 1999, ExED' s mission has remained constant. We believe that every student in every neighborhood should have access to an excellent public school because a quality education provides unlimited opportunities and a pathway out of poverty for economically disadvantaged children, their families, and their communities. In pursuit of this mission, we provide business services and affordable facility financing to community-based, non-profit charter schools, primarily in low-income neighborhoods, in Southern California.
