Advocates for Public Education Policy A4PEP is a statewide coalition of individuals and grassroots organizations that works to educate the public and policymakers to ensure that public schools work for all. A4PEP was created in response to concerns about the adverse effects of failed education reform policies. Initiated in the early 2000s these policies focused primarily on metrics and performance rather than on student and educator needs.
