For nearly 70 years, Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific (REHAB) has provided comprehensive acute medical rehabilitation services to the people of Hawaii and the Pacific. REHAB rebuilds lives together with individuals, families and communities by providing exemplary patient care services for those with physical and cognitive disabilities using a continuum of rehabilitation services that are advanced through education, technology and research. In 1984, REHAB Foundation was created to support REHAB’s mission through philanthropic support – developing strategies that generate revenue through philanthropic campaigns aimed at offsetting costs for hospital programs impacting the care of patients and their families not covered by private or government insurance.
