Fighting for border communities for over 24 years. Formerly @bnhr. #HugsNotWalls #WeAreThe11Mil #NoFamilySeparation Twenty six years of fighting for human dignity & social change on the border. For two decades at the U.S.-Mexico border in West Texas and Southern New Mexico, we have worked to advance marginalized border communities—many of whom live in poverty and/or uncertain immigration status—by promoting policies and practices that comprehensively address national security, community dignity and safety, poverty and economic inclusion, and respect for human and constitutional rights.  At the center of this, the communities and organizers of the Border Network for Human Rights do our work.  We have built an organization with a strong grassroots membership of over 1,000 immigrant and border families, hundreds of trained human rights promoters, and dozens of human rights committees.
