Louisiana Dental Association Foundation
The Louisiana Dental Association (LDA) is a statewide grassroots organization whose purpose is to promote, advocate, and protect the dental professional. The mission of the Foundation is to enhance the oral health of our State by providing funding for clinical research, education, scholarships and access to care programs, as well as providing financial assistance to dental professionals and their families who are in need following natural disasters. The LDA Foundation also provides the underserved population access to care via our Louisiana Mission of Mercy or LaMOM. This event provides approximately 1,500 Louisiana residents with much-needed free dental care. The 2023 event venue in southwest Louisiana will be transformed into a large-scale dental clinic (up to 100 chairs) for the purpose of treating adults and children who have limited financial resources or are otherwise unable to visit a dental office.
