Eliminating Colorectal Cancer through prevention and early detection. Hope Through Grace, Inc. (HTG) has adopted a "positive action program" to raise cancer awareness, increase prevention efforts, confront distrust and mistrust of the health care system, and connect more people to colorectal cancer prevention and early detection services.  The organization has designed, developed and adopted a mechanism to prevent cancer before it is found; and, if treatment is needed, agreements with hospitals and clinics to provide recommended treatment are in place.  Scientific evidence indicates colonoscopy screening saves lives.HTG offers one-on-one consultations, workshops, seminars, and symposia, designed to ensure the public is provided with an understanding of colorectal cancer, risks that increase potential, and measures they can adopt to lower their risk or prevent the disease.  Attendance at an Intake Screening Seminar is mandatory, and eligibility requirements met, before a referral can be made to a gastroenterologist.
