HCF+S is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit vegan animal sanctuary and community farm. Happy Compromise Farm + Sanctuary (HCF+S) works to create connection between animals, humans, and the planet. HCF+S rescues and provides forever homes for both farmed and companion animals; grows food for the community through veganic, regenerative/conservation agriculture available in our Free Farm Stand; and advocates for humans to make sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle decisions. The organization's overarching goal is to create a fair and safe world for all marginalized beings. As an LGBTQ-founded and -led nonprofit, HCF+S also works to eradicate systems of oppression and ensure the sanctuary is a safe space for all marginalized beings.

You’re gonna wanna watch this one til the end. 😂 We can’t believe it’s been a whole month since these two were rescued from local farm that was downsizing due to owner injury. Mama Odesa and baby Zephyr have made such incredible progress since then - they have gained weight and serious issues that we were so concerned about have actually resolved because they’re getting proper nutrition now.

The former owners of this property sadly cleared away so many of the trees in the pasture, but they hadn’t gotten to this patch of forest by the time @happycompromisefarm moved in. This special place isn’t visited much by the humans here - it’s deep in the large paddock - but the cows, pups, and alpacas know it so well. They come here for shade on hot days and cover from rain on inclement days.
