FDP believes in the power of dance and music to bring about positive transformation for youth in dif The Flex Dance Program (Est. 2014) is an arts education initiative that fosters positive growth among young people in difficult circumstances through creative mentorship and Flex dance (flexn). FDP employs renowned dancers from local communities to develop dance skills and routines with their students, promoting self-esteem, cooperation, and communication. FDP seeks to transform physical energy into positive, non-verbal self-expression that offers an alternative to conflict. FDP has an interdisciplinary team that is passionate about allowing artists to make a consistent living doing meaningful work. Many dancers have expressed that sharing their craft through the teaching and mentoring of youth is an exceptionally valuable aspect of their career.
