Psychical Research Foundation Exploring the Science of Parapsychology Welcome to the Psychical Research Foundation website Established in 1961 the Psychical Research Foundation PRF is dedicated to research and education in the field of parapsychology with particular emphasis on exploring the question of whether human consciousness may survive beyond death. PRF research and educational activities include empirical studies field investigations lectures and publications on such phenomena as apparitions ghosts hauntings and mediumship. Exploration is also made of reported psychic phenomena such as extrasensory perception ESP and psychokinesis PK or mind over matter as well as expanded states of consciousness such as outofbody experiences and deep meditative states.
