Fostering Hope La
Fostering Hope LA, Helps youth aging out of foster care by giving them practical skills to be successful in our community. We host an 8 week life/job skills program. We also pair our students with Christian volunteer mentors! To empower youth transitioning out of the foster care system to become confident, productive and successful adults and to understand God's love for them through 1- connecting them with Christian mentors for a min of 6 mo for a healthy and authentic relationships 2- training them in job readiness skills through the Jobs for Life 8 week program 2- assisting them with job placement and continued educational needs to further their careers.
