Founding pilots of the closed Columbia Air Center Your help is needed to build The Historic Columbia Air Center Airport Museum Incon the site of the closed Columbia Air Center the first Black owned and operated licensed airport in the United States of America. The Columbia Air Center operated from February 22 1941 1956. The location of the airport will be on the original site of the deactivated general aviation airport known as the Columbia Air Center located in Croom Maryland which is currently a corn field owned by the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission and is part of the Patuxent River Watershed Park.
