The Dancing Bears aim to create informal events where people can gather to have fun, socialize, and dance to traditional music performed live by local Alaskan musicians. Our purposes are educational, cultural, and charitable, including: (1) promoting and supporting traditional music and dance; (2) promoting and supporting related artistic, cultural, and educational activities; and (3) fostering a greater sense of community by encouraging community involvement in educational and cultural activities.
