If you travel on foot up #BarrTrail, the round trip is, of course, 26.21 miles. In 2023, the average finish time for the #PikesPeakMarathon was 7:25:43. In 1993, Matt Carpenter set the record for the fastest #PikesPeakAscent at 2:01:06. In that same race he set the Marathon record of 3:16:39. Thirty years later, in 2023 Bonnet, all the way from Switzerland, threw down a new Ascent record of 2:00:20!
