A 501c3 nonprofit serving student-athletes forced to discontinue competition due to career-ending injury, health condition, or concussion. Sidelined USA exists to reunite permanently-sidelined student-athletes with their passions and inspire them to find a meaningful way forward. We make specialized support resources available to sidelined student-athletes nationwide at no cost and work to elevate the standard of care for medically disqualified athletes through research, education, and advocacy.

Studentathletes who medically retire deserve specialized resources to support them as they work through their grief and loss and build a meaningful way forward in their own time. Sidelined USA is the first and only 501c3 national nonprofit to make such specialized support resources accessible online at no cost for all permanentlysidelined studentathletes and their families nationwide. We believe every athlete blocked off from competition due to medical reasons deserves the continued support from theirathletic community.
